Hi! I'm Sean (If you hadn't already guessed), a father of two and husband to my wife Sam. After visiting Normandy on holiday as a family, we were immediately captured by its beauty and natural surroundings, so we moved here back in 2007.  We currently live in a farmhouse, which is still under renovation after 10 years - so Sam keeps telling me. I would definitely recommend moving away from the hustle and bustle to the French countryside to those who are considering it!

 

I have previous professional experience in construction, and have brought those skills along with me, doing the majority of the renovation work myself. I love antiques, my passion is copper which I source locally then sell here on my website or on my Etsy shop. I like to explore local places of historical interest, and delight in local produce of the Norman countryside. I first appeared on the YouTube channel Doing It Ourselves alongside Michael, working at the chateau doing construction, then started my own YouTube channel in February 2021 and haven't looked back since! I would like to thank my son Thomas for writing content for the blogs, my daughter Jasmine for editing the videos and co-managing my Instagram account, both of them for helping with the website, and my wife Sam for her continued support.
